Status Update
Each report of ASB we have received has been investigated robustly so that those who are responsible are quickly identified and dealt with appropriately. To achieve this, local officers actively engage with the community, complete house to house enquiries and check both private and council-operated CCTV. We also work closely with local schools and parents.
Regular foot patrols have been conducted around the main hotspots which are Pontac Park and Kilbridge shops, where officers engage with younger residents and deter further incidents. This is complemented by full ward patrols so that residents are reassured by our presence. We will continue to patrol this area targeting those responsible.

Nuisance motorbikes
Issued: 26 May 2026
Status Update
Recent reports show that bikes and quads are accessing Errington woods via Pontac Road and using the area as an obstacle course for off road biking. Officers have responded to this by working closely with residents and councillors to identify key times this is happening so that a targeted presence can be provided.
CCTV has also been reviewed to identify and person entering the woods on such vehicles.
When we identify addresses where we believe vehicles are kept, we visit them and where possible we seize the motorbike or electric bike and prosecute the rider for any offences we can prove.
